PREVALENCE OF E.COLI SEROTYPES IN RAW MILK AND SOME DAIRY PRODUCTS

Abstract

Two hundred random samples, 50 each of market raw milk, fresh cream, Domiati cheese and Ice-ream collected from different localities in Cairo & Giza were examined bacteriologically for detection, isolation and identifi cation of E.coli. Serological typing of existing E.coli were performed. E.coli could be isolated from 32%, 15.15%, 38% and 33.33% of examined samples of raw milk, Domiati cheese, fresh cream and Ice-cream respec tively.
Serological typing of E.coli strains isolated from examined samples, proved
