Abstract

Eight pure Friesian bulls, eight crossbrecd Jersey bu.ls and four buffalo bulls were experimented on to study the effect of supp'ementation with phosphorus, iodine or protein on semen characteristics.
Buffalo bulls were found to be mostly affecied by heat. Feeding potassium iodide and raising the protein livel improved the mo tility, in-Friesian bulls.
The initial fructose content of semon of all bulls was found to be improved by such additions.
