The present work is done on seven greyl foxes, thirty albino rats, fifteen rabbits and thriteen microbats ( rhinopomadidae ). The venous drainage of their dorsal thoracic wall is described comp < /strong>letely. It was found that, most of the dorsal intercostal veins are received by the azygos vein. Neither hemiazygos nor accessory hemiazygos veins present in these mammals.
