A case of acute polyartheritis in a foal was comp < /strong>letely investigated bacteriologic ally, clinically, and haematologically. Streptococcus p < /strong>neumoniae & Corynebecterium equi were found to be the causative agen ts. They were highly resistance to penicillin & erythromycin. Serum protein showed a high level with hyp < /strong>oalbuminaemia. There was disorders in the blood picture.
