Six cases of caseous lymphadenitis have been diagnosed histopa thologically out of 55 sheep sent to the department of Vet. Pathology. Assiut University for post mortem examination. The lesions were advanced and involved several lymphnodes along with some of the internal organs like, lung, spleen, livet, kidney and urinary bladder. Apparently these lesions were the cause of death of the animals.
